vOm
Order, delivery, and review reporting for Amazon Vine participants
Privacy Policy · Terms of Service
vOm is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge. Its purpose is to gather an Amazon Vine participant's own orders, delivery dates, tax values, and review status — information Amazon spreads across several pages that cannot be sorted, filtered, or exported together — into one searchable report stored on that person's own computer.
It runs entirely in the browser. There is no vOm server, no account, and no sign-up, and the publisher never receives a user's report. Cloud sync is an optional feature that uses the user's own Google Drive or OneDrive account.
What vOm does
- Reads the user's own Amazon Vine Orders, Order History, Order Details, package tracking, and Completed Reviews pages.
- Combines them into a single sortable, filterable report: order date and number, product name and ASIN, estimated tax value and its history, delivery estimate or delivered date, and whether a review is still outstanding.
- Imports Amazon's official Vine itemized tax reports on marketplaces that publish them, to fill in estimated tax values.
- Exports the report to an Excel (XLSX) workbook.
- Optionally drafts review text from the user's own rating and comments, and fills Amazon's review form. It never submits a review.
- Optionally synchronizes the finished report between the user's own computers, using their own Google Drive or OneDrive account.
How vOm uses Google user data
vOm accesses Google Drive only after the user explicitly chooses Connect Google Drive. Cloud sync is off by default; a user who never enables it is never asked to sign in to Google, and vOm makes no request to Google at all.
The Google data vOm requests, and why:
drive.appdata— the full scope ishttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata. It grants access only to the hidden application data folder Google creates for vOm, and no access to My Drive, shared drives, or any file the user created or received. vOm does not requestdrive, drive.file, ordrive.readonly.
What is stored there
One JSON file, vOm-sync-v1.json, holding the user's finished Vine report and their VCS tags. It additionally holds the user's own OpenAI API key only if the user ticks that specific checkbox, which is off by default. Nothing else is uploaded.
Why it is needed
So that a user who runs vOm on more than one computer sees the same report on each of them. The file is read only by that same user's other vOm installations.
Where it goes
Directly from the user's browser to the user's own Google Drive over HTTPS. There is no intermediate server, and the publisher of vOm cannot read the file.
Who it is shared with
Nobody. Google user data obtained through this scope is never sold, never transferred to any third party, never used for advertising, and never used to train, retrain, or improve any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model.
Retention and deletion
The file stays in the user's own Google Drive until the user removes it. Disconnecting cloud sync stops synchronization and discards the stored tokens on that computer. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Limited Use
vOm's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Microsoft OneDrive
A user may connect OneDrive instead of Google Drive. vOm then requests the delegated Files.ReadWrite.AppFolder permission, which is limited to the extension's own application folder, and writes the same single file there. The same handling, sharing, and deletion terms apply.
Getting vOm
vOm is distributed through the Chrome Web Store, where the listing carries the longer descriptive title “Amazon Vine Orders Manager” so that store search can find it. The application name is vOm.
