What changed in each release, newest first.
The build you have loaded is shown next to the title in the extension popup. Releases before v1.40.0 shipped under the extension's former name, Vine Order Explorer.
Releases
- The AI review assistant reads Amazon product pages again. Recent Amazon page changes had left it reporting no product description and 0 customer reviews for products that clearly have both.
- Customer reviews are now read from the newer layout Amazon serves on product pages, so a review's headline and full text reach the draft instead of only its star line.
- When Amazon answers with a verification or sign-in page, the dialog now says so instead of reporting the product as having no reviews.
- The AI review assistant now stores the OpenAI key locally on this browser and adds an optional Sync this API key in cloud sync setting.
- When cloud key sync is enabled, the dialog now warns that OneDrive's copy is visible in Apps/Vine Orders Manager, while Google Drive keeps the same file hidden in
appDataFolder. - The API-key visibility eye now appears inside the input field for a more familiar password-entry layout.
- Scan for updates now prioritizes Amazon's current delivery estimate when both a current and historical estimate are shown together, so "Now arriving ..." is kept over "Previously expected ...".
- Scan for updates now checks overdue products and products ordered more than 30 days ago through their exact Order Details pages, reducing unnecessary Order History pagination. A product Amazon omits from Order History also receives a direct fallback check before the scan finishes.
- Comparable-product star recommendations now appear inside the AI review assistant with explicit use-or-keep buttons, so the choice remains available when browser focus changes.
- Cloud synchronization now shows its spinner beside the always-visible Cloud sync summary instead of making the Amazon scan button appear to be scanning. Scan buttons keep their spinner only while a scan is starting or running.
- Added support for Vine on Amazon marketplaces outside the United States, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, and Singapore. Scans, saved links, review checks, and exports stay on the marketplace being used.
- Marketplaces without Amazon.com's U.S. itemized tax reports now continue directly from Vine Orders to Order History and reviews. The U.S.-only ETV report action is disabled for those reports.
- Help now includes the installation-specific extension redirect ID, one-click copying, and a support email link that includes that ID in the draft message.
- Added optional cloud sync for using the same completed report and VCS tags on multiple computers. Connect either OneDrive or Google Drive from the popup; vOm writes directly to your own provider account, and the extension publisher cannot view the cloud report.
- Completed scans and relevant saved-data changes sync automatically, and opening the popup checks whether another computer saved a newer copy. Sync now checks immediately, while a conflict asks whether to use the cloud report or keep this computer's complete report instead of silently overwriting either one.
- The OneDrive file is visible under Apps/Vine Orders Manager. Google stores the same file in its hidden application-data area, so it does not appear in My Drive. OpenAI keys, AI drafts, display preferences, and active scan state stay local.
- Estimated Date and Sorting Arriving Date are now one Estimated Arrival Date column. Anything arriving within the next week reads as Today, Tomorrow, or In 5 days, and a range reads as In 6 to 12 days. It always sorts by the real date behind that text, which is all the second column was ever for.
- Arrival estimates in September were not recognized at all, so they sorted as though they had no date. Fixed.
- Update scans are considerably faster. Package tracking, order details, and report downloads are now fetched several at a time, and Completed Reviews is read in the background while Order History is scanned.
- Saved product values can be edited from the report, with the original Amazon value retained for comparison, reversion, or refresh.
- The VCS column filter stays applied between sessions and survives the quick filters, so a working view no longer has to be rebuilt each time the report is opened.
- Added the Not Approved quick filter, and the quick filter matching what is on screen is now highlighted. A quick filter that no saved product can satisfy is greyed out instead of emptying the table.
- Reworked the Orders toolbar so each section sits beside the button that resets it.
- The AI review assistant now prioritizes customer reviews near each product's average star rating, including reviews loaded from a comparable product.
- A dedicated risk notice explains Amazon automation and rate-limit concerns, and the popup's new information button opens this changelog.
- A scan now stops when Amazon shows a verification or sign-in page while checking which products can still be reviewed, instead of continuing to open pages against it. Your scanned progress is saved, as with any stopped scan.
- Refreshing a single product's Review Status now reports a verification page instead of recording "Write review" from it, and refreshing a manually edited field works even when the required page reader was not already loaded.
- The order-summary copy button and the VCS tag are now two separate columns, so VCS can be sorted, filtered, and hidden on its own.
- The report responds noticeably faster when searching rows and when tagging VCS.
- Scans are lighter on Amazon pages and start more quickly.
- Added the VCS column, a per-product tag with its own filter that is saved between sessions.
- The AI review assistant opens with a more accurate starting star rating.
- Product names containing special characters are displayed correctly, including in reports that were already saved.
- The OpenAI settings include a Get an API key link.
- Renamed from Vine Order Explorer to Vine Orders Manager.
These builds were released before this changelog page existed and no release notes were kept for them.
- Added Scan for updates and Delete all data to the web report's Orders tab.
- Added Scan latest ETV, which compares the official itemized reports without scanning order, delivery, or review pages.
- Every scan now reads Vine Orders first and requests only the itemized-report years your orders actually cover.
- Report actions stay in step with scans started from either the popup or the web report.
- Reordered the web report tabs to Orders, ETV Changes, Tax Information Q&A, and Scan Summary.
- Added the ETV Changes tab, which keeps a history of every ETV change and exports it to generated Excel files.
- Cancelled products use the current net tax ETV while keeping their original value in Cancelled ETV.
- The toolbar icon shows a red dot while a scan is running and a green dot once it finishes successfully.
- A completed scan celebrates with three staggered firework bursts in the web report.
- Stop scan reliably stops a scan that is already mid-request.
- Completed Reviews is treated as authoritative, so Pending approval and Approved replace a stale Write review value.
- Simplified the popup to Full Scan before data is saved and Scan for updates afterward.
- Moved Excel generation to the web report and removed the date cutoff.
- A report from a stopped scan can be opened, with a warning that it may be incomplete.
- Added the latest scan date and time to the web-report header.
- Review checking became faster and more accurate, and update scans check only the products relevant to that update.
- Improved the reliability of delivery and new-order update scans.
- Earlier beta builds are not documented individually.
